Spun cotton Mermaid Ornament

Add a bit of magic from the sea with this one-of-a-kind mermaid ornament! She is made of spun cotton over a wire armature, and crafted as they were in Victorian times. I've added lots of embellishments to provide Victorian charm.

She has a Victorian Era reproduction paper scrap face and crepe paper bra, which is trimmed in gold dresden. She wears a vintage iridescent bead in her hair and she has a halo of light purple tinsel. She holds a vintage pearlescent piece of "coral" and is waving with her other arm. Gold elastic twine forms the loop for a perfect display with your antiques. Vintage crinkle wire creates the shimmer of her handpainted tail scales. She has been painted and stained for a truly bygone look.

She measures about 6” tall, not counting the loop for hanging. A beautiful way to add your love of the sea to your Christmas decor!
